About Sundara Block Printing
Set up in 2025 by Suzanne Purssell, Sundara Block Printing offers a range of workshops for all ages in the beautiful surroundings of Ayot St Lawrence.
Suzanne worked for 15 years as a graphic designer, specialising in packaging for numerous well known brands. She has a keen eye for design and an innate understanding of colour and pattern.
Her artistic temperament can also be seen in her role as creative director of the hugely successful annual Ayot St Lawrence Art Show which raises tens of thousands of pounds for charity every year.
Abundant patience and a skill for encouraging the artistic skills in everyone make Suzanne an ideal teacher for both the novice and the more experienced block printer.
Our charming barn studio in Ayot St Lawrence, Hertfordshire, is the perfect space for you to create and take home beautiful block-printed textiles.
From vibrant tea towels to elegant napkins, cosy cushions and stylish tote bags, our fun and friendly approach, led by our graphic designer, ensures that you will be proud of what you have produced in the session.
